- AMD's Ryzen processors are slightly better performers than equivalent Intel processors, and usually at a lower price.
- The '9' CPU is a true powerhouse, sometimes considered overkill, but it gets the job done fast and without fuss. It's built for demanding tasks like live-streaming, video editing, and AI model training.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
- Last generation's monster of a card, the 4090 was the strongest you could possibly buy. It's still incredibly powerful and is only about ~10% weaker than the 5090.
- The 4000 series is the previous generation from NVIDIA, and still stands proudly alongside the newer 5000s with less than a 10% performance difference between like tiers. Not a bad choice.
32 GB of RAM
- 32 GB is heading to become the new standard, but isn't as widely available as you'd think. It's ideal for power users, video editing, multitasking (like running VMs), and moderate AI training.

- Anywhere between 2 and 4 TB is for those who know they need a fair amount of storage. Games can exceed 100 GB, and pictures and videos are getting larger as well.
